Description

The Rosae red wine is produced by the Marche-based company Casalfarneto, which produces wines in the hilly areas of the province of Ancona. The winery manages 35 hectares of vineyards and focuses on the cultivation of native Marche vines such as Verdicchio, Passerina, Pecorino or Lacrima.

Once in the cellar, the Lacrima grapes undergo a soft pressing, to then be vinified in red with medium duration maceration. Subsequently, the wine is always aged in steel for 4 months and at least 2 months in the bottle.

Ruby red in color with purple hues, it reveals delicate aromas of roses and violets to the nose, with hints of fragrant berries. The sip is elegant and highly drinkable, with sweet tannins.

Excellent with appetizers, it also goes well with cold cuts and cheeses, tomato-based first courses and stewed meats.
