Description

La Genèse from Domaine Usseglio Raymond & Fils is a wine produced with 100% Grenache Noir, coming from two exceptional terroirs: 50% from sands on the right bank of the Rhône and 50% from a parcel of galets roulés on the left bank.

The winemaking takes place in "Drunk Turtle", a Tuscan clay container that allows controlled oxygenation and natural riddling of the lees, similar to ovoid containers.

The wine has intense aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry, raspberry and strawberry, with a subtle spicy note. On the palate, the texture is velvety with soft tannins and a long, persistent finish.

It pairs perfectly with roast meats or mature cheeses.
