Gin Kyrö

Kyro Gin is a Finnish spirit from the young Kyrö Distillery Company, which produces both gin and whiskey using only rye.

Kyro Gin comes from a rye distillate to which 16 dry botanicals and 4 freshly distilled are added. Most of the botanicals are Finnish, cultivated or wild, such as holmeria, sea buckthorn, wild cranberry or birch leaves.

It opens on notes of juniper and pine and evolves towards hints of mustard. The sip is dry and characterized by spices such as pepper, nutmeg and cloves, with a long finish of aromatic plants and birch.

This gin is great straight but fits the best gin-based mixology cocktail preparations.
