Description
Kiku Apple Gin was born from the idea of distilling the apple, a symbolic fruit of the South Tyrolean territory for the first time, with the London Dry method which does not include any added flavourings. In particular, the Kiku apple is distilled, originally from Japan, which at the foot of the Dolomites has found the ideal conditions to develop a complete maturation that results in a sweet heart of honey also found in the final gin. Mediterranean and Alpine herbs such as juniper, lavender and cinnamon support the main ingredient very well and enhance its characteristics.
In the glass it takes on a typically transparent, limpid and crystalline colour. The olfactory examination highlights intense notes, ranging from herbaceous to floral. When tasted, it recalls the sensation of savouring a rich and juicy apple, with an exotic, sweet and aromatic honey note.
Ideal both smooth and mixed. Excellent to combine with a Tyrol Tonic to create a 100% South Tyrolean Gin Tonic.
