Description

Ki No Bi is the first artisan gin produced in Japan, signed The Kyoto Distillery, the only distillery present in the entire Kyoto. The basis of this gin is rice, to which selected botanical additions that belong to the citrus, tea, herbs, spices and flowers families are added. Among these are the yellow yuzu, the Japanese cypress, the red split leaves and the gyrokuro tea from the Uji region. Continuous German stills are used for the distillation.

Clear and crystalline in appearance as well as on the nose, where it evokes the typical scents that are breathed in the Kyoto mountains, that is, fresh aromas of yuzu and bamboo forests. On the palate there are references to juniper and warm notes of ginger and spices.

Due to its high alcohol content, it is preferable to use it in mixing for the production of long drinks and cocktails.
