Description

This Ktererei Kaltern Kalterersee Classico Superiore belongs to the exclusive Quintessenz line, a collection of fine wines obtained from noble vines that grow in vineyards favourably exposed to the sun.

This wine is made exclusively with Schiava grapes, harvested manually between the end of August and the beginning of October. After fermentation in red, with maceration on the skins for 10 days, the wine is left to rest and refine for 6 months in concrete and in large wooden barrels.

It is characterized by a very bright ruby red colour. The nose offers very delicate fruity aromas, with notes of cherry, raspberry and strawberry, well accompanied by light hints of almond. In the mouth, it shows a beautiful fullness and flavour, with soft tannins and a fruity finish of great elegance.

Perfect with light appetizers, it finds its favourite companions in cold cuts and Tyrolean cheeses or in not too elaborate white meats.
