Description
The Johanniter of the Soligo winery is a Brut Nature sparkling wine made in Treviso with Johanniter grapes created by crossing the Riesling and Freiburg 589-54 varieties in 1968 in Germany.
The harvest takes place towards the end of August and then proceeds to soft pressing. The slow fermentation begins in steel tanks at a controlled temperature using selected yeasts. This wine is made sparkling with the Charmat Method and the second fermentation has a minimum duration of 7 months.
Bright golden yellow in color, it has intense hints of tropical notes of mango and papaya, pear, plum, apricot, mandarin and lychee. On the palate it is crunchy with citrus returns, good minerality and persistence.
Perfect for aperitifs, first courses seasoned with herbs, salmon dishes and spicy foods.
