Description
Borgo Conventi Sauvignon is a white wine obtained from Sauvignon grapes grown on flat land with a good presence of clay and a very stony substrate, in Friuli Venezia Giulia. The region's microclimate, characterized by mild winters and hot summers, is influenced by the Alps to the north, which protect the vineyards from cold winds.
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature, using selected yeasts. The refinement continues in steel until the following spring, when the wine is bottled, maintaining its freshness and aromatic intensity intact.
Straw yellow in color with greenish reflections, this Sauvignon stands out for its intense and broad aroma, with fragrant notes of fig, nettle leaves, sage, tomato leaves, peach and dried apricot. On the palate it is fresh, elegant, with good structure and aromatic persistence.
Perfect with seafood, asparagus, poultry and oriental dishes, it also enhances vegetable omelettes.
