Description
Borgo Conventi’s Friulano is a white wine produced with Friulano grapes, grown on flat terrain characterized by a good presence of clay on a very stony substrate. The region’s microclimate is influenced by the Alps to the north, which protect the vineyards from cold winds, contributing to mild winters and hot summers.
After a soft pressing, the fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature, using selected yeasts. The refinement continues in steel until the following spring, when the wine is bottled, preserving its freshness and its aromatic characteristics.
Straw yellow in color with golden reflections, this Friulano offers a delicate floral bouquet, which evolves into more intense aromatic notes of minerals and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate it is fresh, fragrant and fruity, with a full softness and a persistent aftertaste that recalls fresh almonds.
This white wine pairs perfectly with fish carpaccio, seafood first courses and vegetable crudités, and is also ideal as an aperitif.
