Description

The Isola dei Nuraghi Rosso Turriga wine from Cantina Argiolas comes from the vineyards of the homonymous estate, located in Selegas, Sardinia.

It is produced from carefully selected grapes, fermented at a controlled temperature of 28 - 32 ° C and macerated for about 16-18 days, with good use of the délestage technique. The wine is then placed in new French oak barrels where it rests for 18-24 months and, once bottled, it is refined for another 12-14 months.

It is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with a rich and complex bouquet of red fruits and wood, enriched with notes of aromatic spices and graphite. On the palate it is balanced, fine and persistent, with an excellent structure.

Perfect to accompany game and game, it is ideal in combination with spiced red meats and aged cheeses, in particular Sardinian pecorino.
