Description
Karmis, the flagship of the Contini winery founded in 1898 in Sardinia, is a white example that celebrates tradition and innovation. This blend masterfully combines Vernaccia and Vermentino, two varieties that originate respectively from the Sinis area and the Tirso river valley, and from the Marrubiu volcanic area, giving the wine a unique complexity.
The vinification takes place in steel, maintaining a controlled temperature of 13 degrees, to preserve the aromatic integrity of the grapes. The result is a wine of a deep straw yellow, tending towards golden, which stands out for its clarity and consistency.
On the nose, Karmis surprises with a citrus scent and tropical touches, enriched with saline and seaweed notes, which underline its maritime origin. In the mouth it is fresh, almost thirst-quenching, with an explosive flavor that invites a second sip.
Karmis goes perfectly with saline and seafood dishes, such as oysters and prawns, enhancing their flavors and freshness. A wine that promises to enrich every table with its distinctive character and versatility.
