Description
The Isola dei Nuraghi Carignano Siyr di Pala is a wine that originates from the vineyards of Tanca S'Ara. The cultivation soil is clayey limestone and rich in skeleton, ideal for the Carignano vine.
The harvest is exclusively manual. Fermentation occurs with a maceration of the skins at a controlled temperature for 10 days. Once the malolactic fermentation is completed, the wine matures for 8 months in second and third passage wood.
This Carignano stands out for its dark ruby red color. The olfactory bouquet is rich in blackberry and cherry jam, with notes of pepper and leather. On the palate the wine is full-bodied and enveloping, characterized by soft tannins and notable persistence.
Ideal in combination with grilled or braised red meat and mature cheeses.
