Description
This rum is obtained from the distillation in copper stills and column stills of the sugar cane of the Fiji islands. It ages for 2-3 years in the terroir of origin in ex-bourbon barrels and for 12 months in the south-west of France in ex-cognac Ferrand oak barrels.
Golden yellow in color, the nose is enveloped by intense hints of molasses and pear, with hints of spice. The taste tells of apple, gooseberry and nutmeg, with support of vanilla, honey, ginger and allspice in the finish.
Excellent to sip neat at the end of the evening.
