Description

Ardbeg's Corryvreckan originates on the southern coast of the Isle of Islay and takes its name from the famous whirlpool to the north of the island.

Corryvreckan is a Single Malt Scotch Whiskey with intense peaty hints, aged for at least 5 years in Ex-Bourbon barrels and French oak barrels.

Golden yellow in color, the nose is struck by an intense peaty scent of pepper, coffee, dark chocolate and black fruits such as currants and blueberries. The sip is rich, spicy and with a very long finish.

Ideal neat, it can be used to prepare whiskey-based cocktails.
