Lagavulin 8 Years Old is a Single Malt Whiskey produced in Scotland and made on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the distillery's foundation.

Complex and intriguing whiskey with notes of black pepper and lemon that summarize the fruity and spicy tones at the entrance. Toasted and smoky hints exhibit the most compact and filling part of the distillate before it refers to chocolate and saline notes finish the overall olfactory sensation. The note of smoke and wet wood return to the palate which gradually expand in consistency towards the spices making it enveloping and full, with a pleasantly persistent and filling finish.

Meditative and authentic whiskey, it should be tried neat or with the addition of water to decrease its alcoholic intensity.
