Description
The Irpinia Aglianico Rubrato of Feudi di San Gregorio was born in vineyards located in the heart of the enchanting Irpinia landscape.
It is produced with pure Aglianico grapes, harvested and selected exclusively by hand. Fermentation takes place, with maceration, in steel tanks for about 2-3 weeks. Subsequently the wine ages for 8-10 months in steel and for another 6 months in bottle, before being released on the market.
Feudi di San Gregorio's Rubrato has an intense and clear ruby red color. The nose opens with elegant aromas of wild black fruit, licorice and undergrowth. On the palate it is soft and balanced, with a pleasantly fruity finish accompanied with spicy notes.
Perfect to accompany roasted red and white meats, it is ideal in combination with typical dishes of the Campania region such as eggplant parmigiana and rice sartù.
