Founded in 2008 by three friends who were passionate about deep sea fishing, this distillery is one of the rare independent distilleries in Ireland and is located in the Atlantic Archipelago, taking advantage of a unique microclimate ideal for maturing whisky. Cork city is renowned as the birthplace of whiskey culture in Ireland, and West Cork Distillers continues this tradition with artisanal, raw-material production.

The production of West Cork Sherry Cask Finish follows traditional methods with triple distillation in Irish pot stills, half filled to maximize the interaction between copper and steam, a process key to the quality of Irish whisky. All milling, fermentation and distillation facilities have been handcrafted on site by the West Cork team. The whiskey is made using barley and wheat grown exclusively in Ireland and pure spring water, thus ensuring a superior quality product.

West Cork Sherry Cask Finish offers a rich and complex flavor profile. On the nose, notes of dried fruit, honey and vanilla emerge, enriched by a delicate hint of sherry.
