Description

The Scotch Whiskey 12 Years Old Sherry Cask from the Dalmore distillery comes to life in Alness, in the heart of the Northern Highlands. The deer that adorns each bottle of The Dalmore is the coat of arms of the Mackenzie family, historic owners of the distillery.

Initially left to rest in ex-Bourbon American oak barrels, it is subsequently divided into three different ex Oloroso Sherry barrels: Amoroso, Apostoles and Matusalem. Once assembled, it remains to be refined for some time to reach the perfect level of harmony.

In the glass it has an amber color reminiscent of caramel. Its complex aromas are reminiscent of bitter orange marmalade, cinnamon and nutmeg, as well as vanilla, ginger and Christmas spices. The entry on the palate seduces with its aromaticity and has a long finish.

Perfect to enjoy after dinner on ice cubes.
