Description

Aberfeldy 16 YO is the Single Malt Scotch Whiskey produced with the use of barrels previously used for the Oloroso Sherry.

With a long aging of 16 years, this Single Malt is produced with malted barley which, after germination and smoking, is transformed into flour and left to rise before being distilled in batch stills.

The result is a whiskey with an intense amber color with hints that recall cinnamon, raisins, apple pie and caramel. On the palate it is rich and warm, with a touch of citrus fruits such as orange and lemon finished with a fine spiciness that recalls cloves and ginger. The toasting on the finish is also interesting, which also makes it very pleasant if eaten straight.
