Description

M. Chapoutier's Hermitage Monier de la Sizeranne was born in certified biodynamic agriculture vineyards, located in Tain l'Hermitage, in the northern part of the famous French wine region of the Rhone Valley.

It is produced entirely with Syrah grapes, harvested only by hand. Fermentation takes place in cement tanks at a controlled temperature of 30-33 ° C. Subsequently the wine ages for 12-14 months in oak barrels, before being bottled.

M. Chapoutier's Monier de la Sizeranne is characterized by an intense garnet red color with violet reflections. The nose opens with fruity hints of raspberry and black currant, with a hint of licorice. On the palate it is elegant and round, with delicate tannins that accompany towards a finish characterized by pleasant returns of fruity and spicy notes.

This wine is perfect to accompany red meats, furred game and aged cheeses.
