Description

Château Sociando Mallet Cru Bourgeois Supérieur was born in vineyards located in the heart of the AOC Haut-Médoc, in the renowned wine-growing region of Bordeaux.

It is obtained from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes, carefully picked and selected by hand. Fermentation takes place partly in steel and partly in temperature-controlled concrete tanks. Following malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 18 months almost entirely in new French oak barrels, the rest in steel.

Château Sociando Mallet is characterized by a dark ruby red colour with purple reflections. The nose opens with intense fruity aromas of cassis and cranberry, which are intertwined with pleasant notes of green pepper, tobacco, black pepper and wet earth. On the palate it is moderately structured, rich and complex, with a long and persistent finish.

Excellent for pasta, it is ideal in combination with tagliata or pork fillet.
