Description
Château Troupian is part of the Lestage Simon estate which represents the perfect embodiment of a Cru Bourgeois, located in Saint-Seurin-de-Cadourne, in Haut-Médoc, a wine region that enjoys a very high reputation. The vinification takes place in the traditional way in thermo-conditioned stainless steel tanks.
It presents a beautiful garnet red color. Of great aromatic richness, the nose reveals elegant aromas of red fruit and spices, and then closes on floral notes of violet. From the start, the palate is soft, balanced and persistent, with hints of plum jam and vanilla.
It can accompany a roasted quail with figs, a leek soup or a platter of medium-aged cheeses.
