Description
The Grand Vin of Château de Lamarque is produced by one of the oldest estates in Haut-Médoc, whose history goes back a thousand years.
The wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot. The grapes are vinified separately in thermocontrolled steel and cement tanks. The aging takes place in Allier oak barriques, 40% new, and lasts 18 months.
Ruby red in color with garnet hues, it reveals aromas of juicy fruit and spicy and graphite notes on the nose. The sip is elegant, with an excellent structure and a persistent finish.
It goes very well with roast beef.
