Description
Plantation Guyana Rum is produced in Guyana, starting from molasses and sugar cane syrup. After a distillation in pot still in two steps, this rum ages for 7 years in ex-bourbon barrels. Subsequently the rum is sent to the Château de Bonbonnet, in France, where it completes its aging by staying in barrels for at least 2 years.
Golden in color with amber reflections, Plantation's Guyana Rum opens to the nose with persuasive toasted aromas, enriched with notes of dried sage, leather, sea salt and caramel. On the palate it is robust, harmonious and sweet, with hints reminiscent of honey and brown sugar, leaving space in the final with spicy sensations of dark chocolate.
Excellent to taste alone or in the company of a good cigar.
