Description

Groot Constantia's Cabernet Sauvignon is produced in South Africa in the Constantia area with 100% grapes.

The grapes are influenced by the sea breezes coming from the Atlantic and are subject to a climate generally classified as Mediterranean. After harvesting, fermentation takes place in steel and the wine subsequently matures for 14 months in French oak barrels and partially used barrels.

Intense ruby red in color, it has hints of black fruits such as blackberry and cherry, with touches of chocolate and coffee of pleasant intensity. On the palate aromas of vanilla and cinnamon return due to the skilful use of wood for a warm and enveloping sip. Thanks to the smooth tannins and excellent acidity, the wine can also be aged for a few years.

Perfect for grilled pork accompanied by barbecue sauce, mushroom first courses and tagliatelle with wild boar sauce.
