Description
The Greco di Tufo Nassano is produced by Feudi di San Gregorio, one of the largest and most successful wineries in Campania, which produces both white and red wines in Irpinia, a historic region in the Campanian Apennines in the province of Avellino. The "Feudi Studi" line is a limited release that is created each year from the most expressive vineyards selected from the 800 vineyards available to the company.
The wine is composed exclusively of Greco grapes, which are crushed and fermented in steel at 18-20°C, without undergoing malolactic fermentation. The resulting wine ages in steel on the fine lees for 8-10 months, with weekly bâtonnage, followed by 12-18 months in the bottle. The sip is fresh and savory, vertical and of excellent persistence.
This wine is straw-yellow in color with golden highlights, revealing aromas of plum, loquat, mandarin, and flint on the nose. The sip is dry and balanced, with elegant tannins and a long finish.
Ideal to enjoy with flavorful seafood dishes and white meats.
