Description
The Greco di Tufo di Fonzone was born in vineyards located in the municipality of Santa Paolina, in the heart of Irpinia.
It is obtained exclusively from Greco grapes, harvested and selected by hand in the first ten days of October. After a soft pressing, the fermentation takes place at low temperature in stainless steel tanks, for about 1 month. Subsequently the wine ages in steel for about 5 months, before being bottled.
This Greco di Tufo has an intense golden yellow color. The nose opens with notes of orange blossom, grapefruit peel and pineapple. On the palate it is soft and juicy, with a pleasantly long finish of dried apricot.
Ideal in combination with fish and shellfish first courses, it is perfect to accompany white meats and fresh cheeses.
