Description

The Greco di Tufo Chianchetelle is produced by Feudi di San Gregorio, one of the largest and most successful wineries in Campania, which produces both white and red wines in Irpinia, a historic region of the Campanian Apennines in the province of Avellino. The "Feudi Studi" line is a limited edition that each year is made from the most expressive vineyards selected from the 800 vineyards available to the company.

The wine is made exclusively from Greco grapes, which are crushed and fermented in steel at 18-20°C, without undergoing malolactic fermentation. The resulting wine is aged in steel on fine lees for 8-10 months, with weekly bâtonnage, followed by 12-18 months in bottle.

This wine presents a straw yellow color with golden reflections, revealing on the nose scents of white fruit such as apple and pear, followed by candied citron, corn, and nuts. The sip is dry and fresh, with a long finish.

Ideal to enjoy with penne alla corsara and grilled squid.
