Description

Grappa Monovitigno Chardonnay di Nonino is obtained only from a careful selection of fresh pomace of Chardonnay grapes coming from the most suitable production areas. The distillation takes place discontinuous in steam copper stills, with cutting of the head and tail of production in order to preserve the most noble part: the heart. It ages for 12 months in barriques under seal and surveillance by the Customs and Monopoly Agency.

At sight it shows a golden yellow hue with slight amber reflections given by the passage in barrique. The richness of the aromas on the nose recalls hints of chocolate and freshly shelled almonds, and then sweeps towards notes of bread, vanilla and pastry. On the palate it is fine and elegant, with a velvety sip.

Ideal to serve both straight and in combination with cheeses, foie gras, bitter chocolate and dry or baked desserts.
