Description
The Grappa di Barolo Riserva Libarna is produced from the pomace of Nebbiolo grapes from the Langhe.
The pomace is steam-distilled in discontinuous cycle copper stills. Subsequently, the distillate is aged for at least 18 months, of which 12 in tonneaux and the other 6 in French oak barriques.
Amber in color and with beautiful transparencies, it has a complex, rich nose characterized by notes of dried fruit and flowers. On the palate, the taste is complex with spicy notes that refer to cinnamon, white pepper but without losing the intensity and momentum of the varietal part. To be consumed neat as a meditation distillate.
