Description

Ghemme Vigna Pellizzane is a blend of Nebbiolo and Vespolina produced in the best vineyard of the company located 310 meters above sea level

The undisputed quality of the grapes to be vinified is obtained by thinning the fruits on the plant to concentrate aromas and flavours. The grapes are harvested manually after mid-October and after fermentation the wine ages at least 48 months in large barrels before refining a further 6 months in the bottle.

Intense garnet red in colour, it opens on the nose with hints of rose florals and spices, while on the palate it is full-bodied and consistent, with worked and well-integrated tannins for a long and persistent finish.

An important wine to embellish the table, it accompanies stews and grilled meats as well as savoury first courses based on meat sauce.
