Description

Gevrey-Chambertin is a renowned organic red wine, 2021 vintage, from Burgundy, France, specifically from the Côte de Nuits subregion. It is produced exclusively with Pinot Noir grapes, selected from an area of 3.18 hectares with vines aged between 20 and 70 years, on clay-limestone soils.

The grape harvest is manual. The wine undergoes an aging period of 16 months, of which 5 in tanks and 11 in oak barrels, with a percentage of 30% new barrels. This process ensures balanced maturation, enhancing the organoleptic characteristics of Pinot Noir.

Upon tasting, Gevrey-Chambertin stands out for its intense aromas of red and black fruits, with a remarkable structure that combines depth and softness, culminating in a full and balanced finish. These qualities reflect the essence of the Gevrey-Chambertin terroir and mastery of winemaking.

This wine pairs perfectly with red meats, meat dishes in sauce, game and mature cheeses. It has an aging potential that varies between 5 and 10 years, during which it can further develop its aromatic complexity.
