Description
This Premier Cru red wine from Domaine Jacques Prieur was born in the 0.49 hectare vineyard, within the Gevrey-Chambertin appellation.
It is made entirely of Pinot Noir grapes, which are first destemmed. This is followed by fermentation lasting 17 days at a controlled temperature in open wooden vats. The refinement takes place in oak barrels and lasts 21 months.
Ruby red in color with violet hues, it expresses itself on the nose with aromas of violets, ripe red and black fruits and toasted notes. The sip is juicy and delicate, with excellent persistence.
To pair with stewed red meats and mature cheeses.
