Description
This Gevrey-Chambertin originates in one of the highest climats in the whole of Burgundy, located above the hilly landscape overlooking the village of Gevrey-Chambergin, and more fortunate for sun exposure conditions.
Pinot Noir grapes, harvested from plants with an average age of 60 years, are harvested late and benefit from a particular concentration. After a careful vinification in steel, it matures in new oak barrels, giving life to an expression of refined and powerful Pinot Noir, of great elegance.
Intense ruby red, it offers hints of cherry and sweet plum, with herbaceous and complementary mineral notes. On the palate it is fleshy and structured, with a pleasantly fruity and mineral aftertaste.
Stock very well refined game dishes, both from fur and feather, noble poultry and important red meat dishes.
