Description

Txakolí Blanco is made from Ondarrabi Zuri grapes, a native variety present in the Basque area of Getaria recognized in the DO Getariako Txakolina.

The harvest is normally carried out in early October and, after arriving in the cellar, the grapes are fermented at a controlled temperature in steel tanks. The wine remains in contact with the yeasts until bottling.

Pale yellow in color with bright reflections, it reaches the nose with a load of fruity aromas of lemon, green apple and great minerality that return to the palate to support the freshness and intensity of citrus and slightly floral notes. Medium body and good emphasis on green notes, it features a medium finish for a refreshing sip.

Recommended with grilled white meats, it is perfect as an aperitif wine in combination with shellfish, seafood first courses or grilled vegetables.
