Description

The Gavi del Comune di Gavi Black Label and Black Label is the symbol of La Scolca in the world. A particularly complex and elegant wine, with a personality attributable to the terroir of origin, to which the Soldati family affixes their signature, G Soldati G, as a seal of quality.

It is obtained from Cortese grapes from vineyards that reach 60 years of age. 90 years of experience in the winemaking techniques of the Scolca family make this wine a reference model, a wine suspended in time. Fermentation takes place cold with partial maceration on the skins. It remains to refine "sur lie" until the moment of bottling.

The color is pale straw yellow with slight greenish reflections. The nose is intense and continuous, persistent, with initially fruity notes that veer towards floral tones with the passage of time. The sip is large and savory, with hints of flint, almond and walnut in closing.

It is perfect as an aperitif or throughout the meal. In addition to the typical combinations for white wines, it marries wonderfully with white meats and light roasts.
