This light red offers surprising versatility. Its exceptional drinkability makes it ideal for summer days, especially if served slightly chilled. It pairs effortlessly with dishes that are less conventional for reds, adding a touch of elegance to any pairing. And what a price!

Description

Garda Rosso DOC is born on the southern shores of Lake Garda, within one of the Italian inter-regional denominations, which includes Lombardy, Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige.

The wine is a blend of black grapes, which undergo the classic red vinification. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks. The resulting wine is then refined for 5 months in steel, before being bottled and released for sale.

Ruby red in color, the wine reveals aromas of red fruit such as cherry and raspberry to the nose, as well as light spicy notes. The sip is vinous and round, with a very pleasant savoury finish.

This light and versatile red pairs beautifully with dishes such as mixed cured meats, grilled vegetable appetizers, or a chicken salad with aromatic herbs. It can also accompany fish dishes such as grilled tuna or pizza. Perfect for a casual aperitif or an al fresco summer dinner.
