Description
Garda Brut by Valdo is a sparkling wine resulting from a careful selection of Garganega and Chardonnay grapes from the hilly Garda DOC area.
The bunches are harvested in the first ten days of September. The berries are softly pressed and alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel at a controlled temperature. The second fermentation is completed with the Charmat method which requires 3 months second fermentation in a pressurized tank. Bottling and bottle ageing for at least 60 days follows.
The colour is bright straw yellow. Intense and fragrant the aromatic range on the nose, in which floral sensations are initially perceived, supported by notes of white-fleshed fruit. On the palate it is dry and savoury, with a harmonious and persistent sip.
Excellent aperitif, it goes well with appetizers and fish main courses, but also risotto with vegetables and shrimps.
