Description
The Pinot Nero from the I Feudi di Romans winery is made with 100% grapes and falls within the DOC Friuli Isonzo.
After the grapes are harvested and transported to the cellar, they are destemmed and fermented using the Ganimede method. With a fermentation temperature maintained around 28 ° C and lasting 13 days, the wine is then drawn off and pressed. After a month of aging in steel tanks, the wine is decanted into Slavonian oak barrels to refine a further 8 months.
Of a low intensity ruby red color, it has delicate and fruity aromas, with spicy and toasted notes due to aging in wood. On the palate, notes of red fruits and dried flowers appear that open to a pleasant woody scent, with soft tannins and filling capacity before a long finish.
Ideal for game and roasts, it is excellent with legume soups and medium-aged cheeses.
