Description

The Friuli Grave Pinot Grigio by La di Motte is a wine that celebrates the winemaking tradition of the region on the border between Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia. This area is characterized by "motte", small rises in the land which give the soil unique characteristics for the cultivation of vines. "La di", which in Friulian means "at home of", reflects the invitation to discover wines that represent this thin border line, full of wine culture and history.

Winemaking begins with a soft pressing of the grapes, followed by fermentation of the must for 15-20 days at a controlled temperature of 15-17°C in stainless steel tanks. This process guarantees the preservation of the varietal characteristics and freshness of the wine.

It has a straw yellow color, typical of the variety. On the nose, it offers elegance with well-defined aromas that evoke the scent of fresh hay. On the palate the wine is soft and intriguing, with a perfect balance between acidity and alcohol which contributes to a remarkable persistence.

This Pinot Grigio pairs excellently with seafood second courses, fish soups and grilled dishes, taking advantage of its freshness to complement delicate flavours.
