Summary
Description
Friuli Colli Orientali Picolit de La Roncaia was born from vineyards in the municipality of Attimis, in the province of Udine.
It is obtained from Picolit grapes, harvested at the end of October and left to dry for about 6 weeks. The must ferments partly in new Allier oak barrels and partly in stainless steel at controlled temperature. It then ages for 12 months in cask and for another 6 months in glass before being released on the market. In these years of maturation this sweet wine manages to develop an aromatic component capable of arousing strong emotions.
Golden yellow to the eye, it releases elegant aromas of acacia honey and dried fruit. In the mouth it is delicate, full and rightly sweet.
Sweet meditation wine, it goes well with dry biscuits.
