Description
Zamò Rosso is a red wine produced with a blend of Cabernet, Merlot and Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso grapes.
The grapes, destemmed and pressed separately, are fermented in steel macerators. During alcoholic fermentation, which lasts approximately 10-12 days, punching down, delestage and pumping over are carried out. After racking, the wine is decanted into stainless steel tanks and the pomace is pressed. Malolactic fermentation takes place in steel, followed by refinement in large 25 hl oak barrels for 6 months, before final blending and bottling the following month.
The color is ruby red. On the nose you can perceive lively notes of red fruit, cherry, raspberry and violet, which are released with frankness and sincerity. On the palate, Zamò Rosso is direct, immediate and pleasant.
Perfect to accompany tasty and substantial first courses, stewed or grilled fish, white meats and fresh or medium-aged cheeses.
