Description
Ronchi di Cialla's RiNera was born in Prepotto di Udine in the cellar of Pierpaolo and Ivan Rapuzzi, who founded it in 1970.
It consists of 100% Schioppettino grapes, which are vinified in thermo-controlled steel tanks with indigenous yeasts, with maceration on the skins for 3 weeks. The aging takes place in French oak barriques for 2 years, followed by 6 months in the bottle.
Ruby red in colour, the nose has aromas of currants, small red fruits and spices. The sip is elegant, delicate, with a fairly persistent finish.
Ideal with pasta with meat sauce and stewed red meats.
