Description
Sauvignon Blanc is produced by the RoncSoleri company, located in the Friulian Collio and precisely in Prepotto, in the Borgo di Novacuzzo, a stone's throw from Cividale and not far from the border with Slovenia. "RoncSoleri" in Friulian means the "hill of the sun".
The pure Sauvignon Blanc grapes are softly pressed and fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks. Aging takes place on the fine lees in steel and cement tanks for 6 months.
Pale straw yellow in colour, the nose reveals a bouquet of pepper and tomato leaf aromas, with mineral notes. The sip is fresh, with a fairly persistent finish.
Excellent with asparagus, omelettes, fried fish and vegetables and shellfish.
