Description

This Franciacorta Riserva Satèn belongs to the prestigious line of Palazzo Lana di Berlucchi which collects the exclusive reserves of the famous sparkling wine house.

It is obtained exclusively from Chardonnay bunches of three vineyards owned by Borgonato: Arzelle, Mancapane and Castello. The harvest takes place manually in the first ten days of September, followed by soft pressing and fermentation of the fine musts in steel vats. Before the preparation of the cuvée they spend 6 months in oak barrels. The second fermentation takes place by refermentation in the bottle, followed by refinement of at least 7 years on its lees.

This Satèn is characterized by a fairly intense straw yellow color with light golden nuances, a soft foam and an extremely fine and delicate perlage. The nose is centered on floral notes that are combined with elegant hints of ripe yellow fruits and toasted bread. On the palate the structure and complexity are clearly perceived, revealing at the same time material and creamy, as well as round.

Ideal to serve throughout the meal, it goes well with risotto creamed with cheeses, such as white meats and all soft cheeses.
