Description
Casa delle Colonne Brut is a Franciacorta Riserva Brut from the Freccianera line of Fratelli Berlucchi, composed mainly of Chardonnay grapes and Pinot Nero grapes, coming from the Mantighì and Tre Camini vineyards of Borgonato and Torbiano, which are affected by the proximity of Lake Iseo and of the summer breezes of the Upper Camonica Valley.
Only a selection of the best bunches collected with the help of small boxes arrives in the cellar. There is soft pressing and fermentation in stainless steel, then sparkling wine by refermentation in the bottle and refinement which continues on the yeasts for 90 months. The liquer d'expedition is made up of a part of Chardonnay base wine left to refine for 24 months in tonneaux.
It takes on an intense golden yellow color in the glass, enriched by a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose it offers sensations of citrus and sweet spices that anticipate a rounded, pleasantly mineral and persistent palate.
Suitable for the whole meal, it is the perfect match for a roast or a risotto. To be tried in the company of a Milanese risotto.
