Description

Freccianera Extra Brut is a refined and versatile Franciacorta, produced by Fratelli Berlucchi with Chardonnay, Pinot Nero and Pinot Bianco grapes from their own vineyards located in the heart of the Franciacorta morainic amphitheater. This wine is an expression of tradition and quality, enclosing the essence of the territory in every bottle.

The vinification involves a soft pressing of the whole grapes with parcel fermentation. A part of the must completes the fermentation in French oak tonneaux, where malolactic fermentation also takes place. Long stay on the fine lees with frequent pumping over and batonnage. After assembly, the wine is drawn and left to age for at least 30 months on the yeasts, giving complexity and harmony.

It has a bright straw yellow color with golden reflections and a fine, numerous and persistent perlage. The bouquet combines the citrus freshness of bergamot and chinotto with mineral notes and a hint of toasting, while on the palate it stands out for its crunchiness, flavor and well-balanced structure.

It pairs perfectly with tasty seafood dishes, such as linguine with clams and bottarga, enhancing their flavors with its freshness and complexity.
