Description

The Franciacorta Extra Brut of Ferghettina comes from the rolling hills of Franciacorta, in vineyards located on limestone-clay soils located at a height of 250 meters above sea level

It is mainly produced with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, harvested only by hand in mid-August. The vinification takes place separately, vineyard by vineyard: with a soft pressing of the grapes, the fermentation of the single must in steel tanks at a temperature of 16-18 °C follows. Subsequently, the cuvée is assembled, started to the second fermentation in the bottle, which ends with an ageing of 72 months on its lees.

The Franciacorta Extra Brut of Ferghettina appears in the intense golden yellow glass. The nose exhibits notes of almond and vanilla, enriched with nuances of candied fruit. The taste is delicate and persistent, characterized by an excellent balance.

Ideal as an aperitif, it is excellent with soups and with all seafood dishes.
