Description

The Franciacorta Satèn from the Santa Lucia winery is an elegant expression of pure Chardonnay, obtained from selected grapes sourced from 15 vineyards spread across seven different municipalities of Franciacorta. This wide variety of terroir imparts complexity and refinement to the wine, enhancing the typical characteristics of the denomination.

The hand harvest takes place starting from the second week of August, with a meticulous selection of the grapes. After a gentle pressing, fermentation occurs in steel and used oak barrels at a controlled temperature of 16°C. The minimal addition of sugar in the liqueur de tirage gives the Satèn a more delicate and silky sparkle. The aging in the bottle on the lees for at least 24 months enriches its aromatic complexity.

With a bright straw-yellow color, it is distinguished by its fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it offers delicate floral notes and spicy nuances, with a refined complexity. On the palate, it is soft and creamy, with an elegant structure and a harmonious finish that leaves a pleasant sensation of freshness.

Perfect as an aperitif and paired with seafood dishes.
