Cavalleri's Satèn, included among the 1001 Wines You Must Try Before You Die, is a Franciacorta that stands out for its silky elegance and delicate bubbles. Produced exclusively with Chardonnay grapes, this wine expresses a perfect balance between creaminess and freshness, with notes of white flowers, citrus and a light hint of almond. It is a refined example of Satèn, a style that in Cavalleri finds one of its purest and most refined expressions, making it a symbol of excellence of Franciacorta.

Description

Franciacorta Brut Satèn is born in vineyards located in Erbusco, in the heart of the magical terroir of Franciacorta.

It is produced exclusively with Chardonnay grapes, harvested and selected by hand during the last week of August. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. After the second fermentation which occurs through refermentation in the bottle according to the Classic Method, this sparkling wine ages on its own yeasts for at least 48 months before being released for sale.

This Brut Satèn is characterized by a bright straw yellow color. On the nose it opens with an elegant bouquet, with hints of yellow fruit, enriched by pleasant notes of bread crust. On the palate it is pleasantly rich and intense, with a fresh and creamy body.

Perfect to accompany all meals of the day, it is ideal in combination with fish-based dishes, shellfish, aperitifs, first courses, dry desserts and pastries.
